OPINIONS PLEASE!!! - Potential locations - WIM

So after a conversation with Phil, my thumbnails and concept are getting to a good point.

We have decided that the sinking city idea is a good one but that, along with the environmental activism portion, this would be better being parked for another project rather than clouding, muddying and complicating the concept and outcome.

So we decided that the next stage was to work out where the city would be placed. It needs to be a contrast in order to get the true modernist feeling of shock. I have decided to choose all locations that played a key part in Brancusi's life; Romania, Paris and Munich.


1) Traditional Romania








2) Older Paris









 3) Old Munich









 I'd really welcome opinions please!!!! Would love to know what you guys think would be the best contrast for an ultramodern city!

    I just think maybe Romania - because it's not a place we associate with 'Modernity' - and I think the contrast would be useful to you :)

This week we received the summer project that is to be completed before beginning our first year of the CAA course in a few weeks time. Three and five act structures are key devices used in effective storytelling. They give narratives and stories a pleasing base structure upon which the weave the elements to create a unique viewpoint. The Greatest Showman has a clear five act structure used beneath all the songs and showy costumes to make it stand up as a narrative.
